Bomb Trap and More

Its been awhile i know. I began adding an new trap.
The real issue now is that it i need to add alot of dynamic stuff for more advance puzzles.


























the basic map will be 7x7 but i think it will be possible to make smaller and bigger levels or maps too.

Finally my pc is fixed and unity update.

Finally my pc is fixed. The new unity update broke also alot. It took awhile some plugin dont work anymore.





















Next trap will be the bomb trap. Also found some bugs with stones and stones collision.
And water and stones.

Ice Stones Rework.

Again Unity update broke stuff. I had to rework some of the tags.
Ice Stone is also reworked more is coming.
































So far is kinda hard to rework all effects and objects again, but it will pay off.

Coming Next and More

Got no progress this week, my kids got sick and alot of stuff broke.

Coming next i will add the different effects for the stones and rework them.




















Fire, Ice and More. There are some troubles with the old tags. I need to fix that soon.
Some tags somehow dont work anymore since some unity updates.

If gave me some troubles since i add to some object on the start that in can find and assign the right gamobjects or scripts.

Effect Menu and Updates.

I added an Effect Menu to give the player more infos and option with some of the potions.
The Unity Animation gave me some troubles. I know working on some simple tweens with DoTween.

I use some Icons from http://game-icons.net/ For the teleport option i need an menu.
The player can teleport objects too can teleport to the next level.

Coming next more option and levels.

Teleport Potion finally;)

Teleport potion with the Teleport Points.



Finally the first part of the teleport potion is done.  You can teleport now to teleport points.
Next version will be that you can teleport objects.

Each potion should do 3 things. I thinking to make it possible to teleport to an other level. 
I think its an interesting idea. I dont know yet how to it would help the player but it makes sense in some situation if you cant complete the level or ran out of turns.

Art rework

Project is not dead. The art rework takes longer that expected and still breaks stuff.


























Decreased the level or map space. An too big gameview brings problems in the long run.

The gameart is still improving. Next will be an simpler UI. Everything needs to be more compact.
And also simple.

Art Update and more Potions and more Features.

I still working on the game soon i will show also the new art update. 
It will got in an different direction.

I reworking the game overall. Right now i am not sure if there will be an mobile version.
I want to release it first on steam, but when i started i dev it for android tablets. 

Both is possible the game works well with swipe. I want to make it more accessable with gamepad etc.


















15 Potions so far. In my list more will added soon. 

I decided some will easier to find in different worlds.

SourceControl/Version Control Perforce etc. for developing games.

In the past i have been using SourceTree for SourceControl. Its not bad but i prefer now perforce.

Its just the better pro tool.  The perfect solution to use it with Amazon Cloud Server.
I testet it with an free year its pretty good, but expensive then.

You need to setup an linux server. Then everything runs like cake.
Perforce is for the first 20 Users free right now. For Unity is a perfect solution.
I now switch to Helix Cloud from perforce its free and also Beta.

its the first version i think it would be better search with tapping on the tree flowers etc
or the ground.

its and interesting feature for hidden traps etc too.

Sry it took me longer. I ran into alot of bugs since some Trigger got Trigger from an
child gameobject.

Indicators for Potions effects and More.

Been working alot on UI improvements and more options for player to complete an level.

Speed potions. Bolt traps more traps and new potions.























Right now you control the player with swiping. I will add too gamepad support and also keyboard support for an pc version.

The goal should be give players alot of options to get to the exit.

i want to get out an softlaunch soon with around 10-15 levels.

Slows Effects and Colliders

I now added too an slow. Also decrease the movement in the game and also increase the turns
that each move will take.

Tomorrow i will finish the speed potion. It will have some advantages and disadvantages.
But it makes sense for decrease some effects.

Frozen Stone Core Rework

Quick update:

Yesterday i began reworking since i want to add slow and turn reduction.

It will take some legwork. Since i Need to make parts of the core of the game more dynamic.

For example the fire Stone will hurt the Player with the damage and the frozen Stone will
slow the Player visually and let him loose more turns or a limited time.

Its an great idea and feature for future potions and improvements. Since some of the effects and ideas had no visual feedback overall.

Broken Prefabs and new fixes.

Small update:

I got some issue with some of my prefabs. Its seems on of the plugins that i use
is changing the shaders and breaking it somehow.

Easy fix was to change the Sprite/Default.




The pink prefabs shows its broken.

Material somehow got to None.
That seems to break stuff.

I think its an Unity bug.

OverTime Effect visible on the Player

Hey just an quick update on the OnHit Effects overtime.

Just added an similar effect to the player too.

Some collider stuff was bugged too. I got it fixed.
Also found an weird bug with the borders.





Burning Stone for example with take health like
an overtime effect. For example similar to poison.



I mixed turnbase stuff and realtime together.
It just happend i dont know why.

The player moves in Turns or Steps.
And the rest works more realtime.

I did the movement with DoTween, but i used for
stones etc Colliders or Triggers.

I got it working. Overall it seems not the best
idea so far. It keep giving me bugs.

New Trap Tut level and More

Sry been sick the hole week. Finally finish an other Tutorial level

8 potions need to be done and 3-4 more traps.

Stones shoot arrow. Art will be updated.

also Stone with animated spikes.
I use Arrow too for it.

Water Tutorial and More!!!

I am still working on the game. All got slowdown pretty hard because of reworks and i got two times sick.

I glad so far that i delay the whole project overall. I got alot of new improvements  and idea.

Yellow potion will reset your position
if you die and blue potion you can move through it. 

It will possible to freeze the swirl and fire potion will remove the swirl.





















I thought some of the traps or elements in the game should work similar with different art.

Water swirl will work similar to the blackhole and other traps.

Its been awhile;)^^

I am still working on the project just had to delay everything.

The last unity update broke alot also i had to rework some stuff.
I began rewoke some the potions. I still need more content.

Alot of players wanted tutorials so far and i thought about it.
It will help to rework and prototype new potions.


Tutorial for the Switch potion. If you that the potion you can disable the animation for a limited time/ turns.
